Program Overview

Your CIEE Summer Global Internship program in Paris lasts 8 weeks and features two key components: A full-time internship with an international organization (approximately 30-40 hours per week) and an internship seminar. Enhance your experience with co-curricular and extracurricular activities while building career skills, expanding your professional network, and immersing yourself in French culture. Live, learn, and work in Paris!

All housing options are located in neighborhoods around Paris or in close suburbs called 'la petite couronne,' with convenient access to public transportation. From apartments to residence halls, you will find your housing is conveniently situated near grocery stores, city supermarkets, cafés, eateries, pharmacies, and everything else you could possibly need.

CIEE's excursions and cultural activities in Paris will open doors for you to explore France's rich diversity, language, culture, history, and timeless beauty in ways that will enhance your time abroad.

Samples of past excursions and activities:

Take a trip outside of Paris to visit Monet's home or wander through Versailles Palace and its gardens
Enjoy a French pastry-tasting to learn about French pastries and sample some of the most famous examples like éclair au chocolat
Discover the Montmartre neighborhood located in north Paris to learn about the area's artistic significance

CIEE Paris: Centrally located in Paris' 12th arrondissement, CIEE Paris sits at the foot of subway line #1, making it easily accessible to the rest of France's iconic capital! The study center features six classrooms, a student lounge, an on-site academic advising office, and complimentary Wi-Fi and printer access.
