SEINAN Summer Japanese Program 

Taking advantage of its long-standing history of Japanese language education since the 1970s, Seinan Summer Program offers participants outstanding linguistic training in a richly international environment. Through a variety of experience-based learning at on/off-campus, participants can enhance their Japanese effectively while gaining new perspectives on the language and culture. It provides you with intensive Japanese training through many interactive activities and experience-based learning (=“TAIKEN-GATA GAKUSHU” (体験型学習)). 

This is a 4-week program, taking place June-July, where students can earn 4 credit hours. Students will take a placement test when they arrive in the country to determine their langauge level. Only Japanese language courses are offered. This program includes:

• Several on/off-campus experiences-based learning taking advantage of being in Japan
• 1-day and 2-day field trips (Kyushu region)
•  A variety of optional Japanese cultural classes and activities
•  Living on-campus dormitory with Seinan local students
