Nanzan University Exchange

While in Nagoya, Japan, exchange students at Nanzan University are enrolled in the Center for Japanese Studies (CJS). The main goal of CJS is to offer intensive Japanese language and culture courses so that students can develop fluency in Japanese and also deepen their understanding of Japan’s culture. By offering various content courses, CJS also aims to increase students’ ability to think critically and express their opinions about a range of global issues.

Seinan Gakuin University Exchange

Located in Fukuoka, Japan, exchange students will take classes as part of the International Division at Seinan Gakuin University. The courses focus on Japanese Studies, including Japanese Language, Culture, History, Business and Politics, with all courses with the exception of Japanese language courses conducted in English.

One of the key aspects of the International Division is it has a beginning Japanese class intended for those who have never studied the Japanese language before. As a result, proficiency in Japanese is not required for admission.
