College of Education Internship Abroad-New Zealand

The purpose of this program is to provide Senior Undergraduate Education Majors with opportunities to learn about New Zealand culture and Inquiry Based Learning. Students will visit multiple schools as appropriate to their area of study. Students will work with teachers and staff from these schools and rotate placements during this three week program. Students will have a great deal of independence during the program.

Students will begin their internship at their COE assigned domestic placement and will finish their internship abroad at the international location. 

 

**Please Note: Students are required to apply for a New Zealand electronic travel authorization (NZeTA), and pay the International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL) before leaving the US.
