Announcement: COVID Vaccine Info

The CDC recommends COVID-19 vaccines for those traveling internationally. UNG also strongly encourages students to be fully vaccinated prior to traveling abroad.
COVID Vaccine Information
 
  1. The public health risk of contracting COVID-19 while traveling is real. It is known to spread very quickly via person-to-person transmission.
  2. These risks will impact the ability for host institutions to bring students to campus, conduct classes in person, etc.
  3. The CDC recommends COVID-19 vaccines for those traveling internationally. UNG also strongly encourages students to be fully vaccinated prior to traveling abroad.
  4. Many countries are updating entry requirements such as quarantine, testing, etc. according to vaccination status.
  5. Many countries require travelers to complete health assessments prior to boarding in addition to PCR testing, and other country-specific entry requirements.
  6. While there is no unified vaccine passport, some countries are considering this option and are requiring proof of vaccination at the port of entry.
  7. It is important students research individual entry requirements to ensure they have the appropriate documentation, and vaccine, if necessary.
