Program Description:
Overview: 

During the Spanish Language & Latin American Culture program students will complete one 80 hour course per summer session. Most courses focus on Spanish language instruction, but there are also several courses designed for more advanced Spanish students. Summer 1 offers Spanish for Health Professionals which is available only to students who are majoring in one of the following areas: pre-med, nursing, pharmacy, microbiology, and other health professions. Classes are at Veritas University with American and other international students. Courses are taught by host university faculty at the Universidad Veritas.

ELIGIBILITY

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

All students must take a Spanish language placement exam prior to departure. The exam will indicate each student's language proficiency level and determine the courses in which the student is eligible to enroll.
